Gr1 Pure Titanium Coil

Gr1 Pure Titanium Coils are better than steel because of their good properties for many media. Their corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature toughness and fracture toughness are also superior to steel. Titanium has a density of 4.51 g/cm3, which is higher than aluminum and lower than steel, copper and nickel, and the specific strength is at the top of the metal. Titanium coil is mainly used for heating and cooling of the container. The fixing method of the titanium coil is divided into two types: detachable and non-removable. Process performance:
- Flattening test: The pipe should be subjected to flattening test. When pressed to the specified spacing, no cracks should appear on the surface of the pipe.

- Flaring test: The pipe shall be subjected to a flare test. The flaring shall be a tool with a top core taper of 60°. After the flaring, the expansion of the sample shall comply with the regulations, and the sample shall not be cracked.

- Liquid (gas) pressure test: The pipe should be subjected to water pressure or air pressure test.

- Non-destructive testing: Pipes with an outer diameter of 10mm~60mm shall be tested by ultrasonic or eddy current and shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 12969.

- Appearance quality: The inner and outer surfaces of the pipe are clean and free from visible defects such as cracks, folding, peeling and pinholes. The welded pipe weld is fully filled and the transition is smooth.
