Product details:

Due to its low carbon content and stabilized heat treatment, w.n. 2.4856 alloy will not be sensitized even after 50 hours at 650-900℃. The supply state is soft annealed, its application range includes wet corrosion environment, and it has obtained TuV certification for pressure vessels with temperature of -196 ~ 450℃.

Mechanical properties can be improved by aging hardening.

Application field

The low carbon alloy after softening and annealing is widely used in the chemical process industry, which has good corrosion resistance and high strength and can be used as the thinner structural parts. It can be used in contact with sea water and under high mechanical stress.

Suitable for any traditional welding process, such as tungsten arc welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal arc welding, melt arc welding.

The material to be welded shall be in solid solution state to remove oxide skin, grease and marks. The welding operation shall be performed at the specified low heat input with interlaminar temperature not exceeding 150℃. Heat treatment is no longer required before and after welding.
